With this game, you have the whole of Union at your fingertips and as a result, the game is probably as close as you can get to being an open-world game without technically being one. The first Evil Within was far more contained. The gameplay in The Evil Within 2 is similar, but expanded on. The story is good, but it just lacks that bit of punch the first game had, even with the connection to Sebastian’s daughter. He ends up going with her and finds out that the machine which caused all the trouble from the first game is being used and his daughter is being used against her will to create a little town called, Union, but something has gone very wrong. While he is getting wasted, he is approached by Juli who now works for Mobius and she informs him that his daughter, Lilly is still alive.
