Thankfully with Xbox One’s cloud saves, whenever a player continues their game, they can pick up right where they left off.
Participants won’t be charged but after the campaign period ends, the game will have to be purchased to continue playing. Once the promotional period starts, Xbox Live Gold members simply need to find the game in the store and download it. The promotional period will run from 12 PM PT Thursday, May 26 through to 11:59 PM PT Monday, May 30 to allow gamers in all regions to have a chance to play.
Microsoft is giving Xbox One owners the chance to play the full version of NBA 2K16 for free this weekend and a few more days next week.
